eLearning Day this Saturday!

eLearning Day at ACSC: April 7th

 PRESS RELEASE

On Tuesday March 13, 2018, the ACS School Board voted unanimously to approve a pilot E-Learning Day.  .

Being granted this pilot E-learning day by the Indiana Department of Education allows ACS to make up its last snow day via E-learning rather than adding an additional day to our calendar. This means that ALL ACS Schools will be closed on Monday, March 19 as a snow make-up day.

The E-learning day is scheduled for Saturday April 7, 2018 between the hours of 10:00AM and 1:00PM.

Students In grades K-5 will have paper or digital packets to complete.

Students grades 6-10 will have digital content to complete using their school issued Chromebook.

Students in grades 11-12 will have a combination of both paper and digital content.

Since we know some students have activities on Saturday, April 7, access to packets and digital content will begin on Thursday, April 5 and assignments are not due until 3:30PM on Friday, April 13.

On April 7, all ACSC buildings will be open to provide students with access to wifi from 10:00AM-1:00PM. Additionally lunch will be served to students from 11:00AM-12:00PM. All students must be accompanied by a parent if they come to buildings to use wifi or eat lunch. If your child has questions or needs assistance with assignments, teachers will be available by email from 10:00AM-1:00PM. If your child has problems with their Chromebooks or Canvas LMS, they may contact [email protected]. This site will be monitored by ACSC Technology Integration Staff from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM on April 7.
